Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Im planning to do only 7k a year which is a couple of k more a year than I currently drive, however after driving one over the weekend I could easily use any excuse to drive...the car was incredible.

Should I really be bothered by the mileage if Im buying from Porsche as an approved used car?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, Im about to purchase a 996 and am in a dilema between two cars. Both are the same price. Spec Car 1 Carrera 4 Cabrio 01/02 Arctic Siver. 50k miles, a lot of options on the car. Spec Car 2 Carrera 4 Coupe 06/03 Seal Grey. 27k miles, not as well specd as the cabrio but prefer the colour and interior (all black as opposed to metropol blue with silver trim around the sat nav, but could live with the silver trim). My main concern is mileage, both come with OPC warranty for a year. Should I really be bothered by the mileage if Im buying from Porsche as an approved used car? cheers! POST 2Original post

The mileage would only be a worry if you were planning to do 20K miles a year (and then only because of the depreciation!) Migration info. Legacy thread was 132862

Thanks for the replies. Im planning to do only 7k a year which is a couple of k more a year than I currently drive, however after driving one over the weekend I could easily use any excuse to drive...the car was incredible. Im going for the cabrio considering the weather over the wekend and that I drive across Europe every summer anyway. Migration info. Legacy thread was 132956
