Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I think everyone was jealous of mine since I installed a Bluetooth adapter we were able to stream music the whole trip.

I purchased and installed the Yatour system that Paul Waterloo recommended in this thread.

You just don't get to have this much fun without running into other cars.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Had a GREAT day today with some close friends on the Triple Nickel (Ohio State Route 555). It was a small group of just 5 cars. Two Boxsters, an 83 SC, a 997 and my 996. We met just south of Canton and drove south to SR 78 west. This first leg on 78 is a great road in it's own right. Lots of sweepers that can be taken at a very spirited pace.
We made a quick stop to see the bucket from the old drag line strip mining machine "Big Muskie". All that is left is the bucket which is huge. I can't imagine how big the excavator was that used this thing.
We followed SR 78 over to SR 555 and out to Bur Oak Lodge for lunch. Neat old lodge, food was decent, service was weak compy was the BEST. These are all friends that have tracked and instructed together for almost 20 years. Great conversation at lunch with the wives having an opportunity to talk and relax. Left the lodge and picked SR 555 up again heading south toward the Ohio River.
OK, this road is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!! I don't think there is a straight section that is more than about 1,000 feet. The road twists and turns with ups and downs all over the place. All the turns and switch backs are banked with good pavement. Best thisng was we had no traffic, NONE! You just don't get to have this much fun without running into other cars. This road must be one of the best kept secrets. (Not anymore)
Worked our way down to the river, refueld and headed back north the way we came. All told we did six hours of absolutely the best roads.
Photos to prove this happened
Thanks.
The car ran great. Coming from a 944s2, which I loved, the 996 has fantastic turn in and steering feel. The extra hundred horse power is loads of fun coming out of the corners.
Thanks for sharing, great to see some photos from fellow Porsche owners on their drives! Took a look at google maps, the roads looks stunning! :-)
Cheers, Andreas
Andreas, Stunning is a good word to describe the roads. They are constant turns and elevation changes. The pavement is in good condition overall with very few holes and subsequent patches. The banking, elevation change and left right combos can't be understood on the google maps. I did the same as you and looked at the maps before we left home. Maps does not do this road justice.
Ah, too bad there is an ocean between me and those roads! :-) Nevertheless great fun to be able to at least partially follow were people are driving!

The cars all did great. I think everyone was jealous of mine since I installed a Bluetooth adapter we were able to stream music the whole trip. Radio reception was a bit spotty, not to mention limited selection of stations. Every once and a while we lost cell reception which killed the streaming. Not a problem, we just enjoyed the sounds of flat 6 music!
The Boxsters put their tops down in the afternoon. Tops down, windows up, heat on, 61 degrees outside.
We have our fair share of fun roads but new roads and new places are always more exciting!
Btw, what bluetooth adapter have you installed? Looking for something similar to stream from Spotify.

Andreas,
I purchased and installed the Yatour system that Paul Waterloo recommended in this thread. Works great and was not too difficult to install.
