My left rear wheel is scratched. Please see photo attached.
i feel that it just needs touch up paint.
however I’m not very handy .
is this something I should be able to do easily... or would you recommend a professional?
I tried to repair damaged wheels last year year and it didn't work out. Yours looks more like just buffing out. Mine had major curb rash.
A body shop can respray those perfect if needed, will always look better than any brush touch up and have more longevity against repeated waxing
Thats a lot more than touch up paint.
Wheel refinishing places all over.
$100-200 a wheel maybe.... depends if you bring them just the rim or they have to dismount, remount and balance.....

That's a lot more than touch up paint.
Excellence and quality outcomes are NEVER the cheap option in this life.
There is a powder coating shop in my city. Bring him the wheels tires on and he will remove, refinish and replace the tires simple colors like black and silver for $450.00 for 4.
I am strongly leaning that direction since they do all the work and you get a strong finish. Has anyone else done this?
Sounds like the direction I would go. Powder coating is much more durable than simply painting, and all four wheels will match.
I’m not sure you can powder coat or use touch up paint for that. The turbo wheels are polished, forged aluminum
I've had my rims professionally repaired twice. They can do it in a little over an hour. In the Sacramento CA area I've used a company called RimPro. Cost about $125. Looks as good as new. They can do amazing repairs. That's probably not an national company but I'd suspect like companies are in every major city. I'd ask your
Porsche
(or other high performance dealership) where they send wheel repairs to. They likely don't do it in house.
I’d just find a new wheel, that way you know it’ll be to satisfaction... I see lots of black and gray wheels that get curbed and that doesn’t look good when it scrapes down to the silver alloy... eeek
