Base carrera C2, with ipod/bluetooth and heated seats.
Black on black.
Just an awesome feeling having it. Almost the same sense of disbelief when I had bought my E46 M3 (a car I really liked).
The 997 most likely will be an all year long car.
Will post pics when I get round to it.
Damn. Im still trying to believe I have the 911 sitting in my garage.

PS: Anyone know how to change brake pads in the new setup? Doesn't look like the usual brembo top loader.
Congratulations! As someone who recently bought a 2009 C4S just a note to keep an eye on the oil level. They go through a hell of a lot of oil. I would check it very frequently especially during the break-in period. Also check to see if your LED daylight running lights are set to on. The dealer told me some left the factory with the software not set properly meaning they were not set to on. The dealer had to download and reinstall the software on mine. They look nice with the LED daytime lights on. Are you keeping your Cayman? I am keeping my 2008 Cayman S as a spare!
Thanks!
I'll check the daytime running lights.
I sold the Cayman to make room for the 911.
I should stock up on oil I guess.
Congratulations! I went from a Cayman to a C2S, and there's nothing like the site of that iconic Porsche sitting in the garage. Did you get PDK?
Congratulations. Was this car on the lot or did you order it?
Car was on the lot.
Non PDK (I would be interested in the PDK when they get the controls right
)
Congratulations on the new car. I've only had the C2S Cab for a couple of weeks but it sure is a lot of fun. The 911 certainly has its own "presence". The Cayman was a pleasure, but I have no regrets w/ the 911. We'll have to keep on eye on the oil consumption, but it seems to be rather variable based on what I've read elsewhere.
I too went from a Cayman S to 977.1S and love it! Congrats!!
Have not noticed the oil consumption to be a problem.
