the Litronic headlights are crazy overpriced for what you get, just swapping in LED bulbs, most of which run cooler, will help if you're trying to match lumens, if you're looking for a clean daily and aren't looking to blind people who drive a CRX like me.

Hi all Looking for a nice, NON-BURN, 986 headlight set. Also would consider a Xenon style as long as its not too "funky" Would have to be shipped here to Newfoundland, Canada My first "Looking to buy" post. Hope its correct lol

There are halogen retrofit kits that you can DIY for a fair bit less: https://retrofitlab.com/en-ca/collections/porsche-986-boxster?srsltid=AfmBOoroeqYtLZExO4_wk6mW-EYe392SoqKpAhOzuo5BqVWRywlerBFU A set of factory Litronics headlights would cost about the same as the flat6-illumination ones I linked above.
