Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, I've got a problem with my oil pressure needle. It is pinned at 4 regardless of whether the car is off /hot/warm/running etc. The previous owner fitted some new gauge faces shortly before I purchased and the needle was working fine post-installation for about a week. I'm thinking it could just be the needle is stuck (as it is at 4 bar even if the car is off, so rules out faulty sensor) and just need the cluster taken apart and given a gentle wiggle. I've searched online and can't see any other similar issues, so before I go ahead and take the cluster apart, does anyone know what it might be? Thanks in advance
