Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

22 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just trying to assess how wise this may or may not be? 997 C4S so smaller frunk than a C2S but a small dog - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. All advice and input welcome!

POST 3Original post

Where's the dog when you're driving? Passenger lap? How long you planning to be away for? What's your concern?

POST 4Original post

Dog in froot? Or how about front passenger football?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No, the dog would have to be in one of the back seats, with a harness on. DangerDoom said: Where's the dog when you're driving? Passenger lap? How long you planning to be away for? What's your concern?

POST 7Original post

Yes, possible. Not even sure why this would be a question - what are you concerned about?

POST 8Original post

Of course it is possible - dog in back. It made me remember sitting in a queue to board the channel tunnel last summer in my camping car and there was a brand red new corvette C8 immediately in front of me. The driver got out - and he must have been 75…. (He took an age to get out over the door sill.. it made me chuckle - (good on him!!) - he then produced a fluffy white Bichon Frieze dog from the passenger seat…. I suspect his wife said… “f@&k driving to the south of France in that thing… I’m flying to Nice….. I’ll see you there … oh, and don’t forget to bring the dog!! “

POST 9Original post

Absolutely what these cars were built for. Took my three strapping lads to France and Belgium last summer. With sensible packing in soft bags it's amazing how much you can fit up front.

POST 10Original post

Orangecurry said: Never taken an animal. Only children. Done Le Mans with wife and child in a 3.2 Carrera. Pretty sure a wife and small dog will fit. We also had tent etc with us. Although the last time when the lad was 6ft was a bit of a squeeze

Ocho said: CanAm said: That was just 4 blokes' luggage; the OP is taking his wife! Roofbars and roofbox easily fitted if required

POST 16Original post

I remember seeing a guy on the ferry years ago in a 996 Turbo, with roof box, loaded to the gunnels with 3 children off on summer hols. He didn’t seem to be having any issues.

POST 17Original post

Not sure why this is a question tbh. A tiny dog and soft luggage will easily fit due to the back seat & footwells

POST 18Original post

it is one of the main reasons I love my 911 (and the FF), they are fun to drive and the dog has a comfortable space to come along even if I have a passenger. When I used a 2-seater, it was just the dog and me

POST 19Original post

I’ve got a staff spaniel cross and I’m doing my best not to trade my Cayenne (very suitable) for a 992 GTS (probably not suitable) Life is short though.

POST 20Original post

Folded down back seats make a great dog bed !
