I also took my arm rest lid lock out and replaced it with a USB charger and fitted a double USB charge point for the back seats for when my kids are in the car.

It's probably a good idea to put the phone out of reach of temptation!

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The media box with the usb connections is in the glove box. For ease of access, I would prefer to have it located in the cubby hole below the actual PCCM unit.
Is there any reason why the specialist would have put it in the glove box as the photos on the Porsche website suggest the "official" fitting is in the cubby hole.
How difficult a job would it be to relocate the box?
Thanks
I put mine under the the dash on the drivers side, as I need the cubby and don’t have a glovebox.also think it looks ugly on show, plus you have to drill a hole in the cubby for the cables
I put mine next to the heated seat switches. I also took my arm rest lid lock out and replaced it with a USB charger and fitted a double USB charge point for the back seats for when my kids are in the car.
I located mine one the shelf that's part of the unit itself - so completely hidden. Just ran a cable into the cubby underneath the unit so I can connect my phone.
@barefoot
- I like what you have done there, very nice.
If the beeping stops when you eject maps microSD, then it's some POIs popping in the background that you have to turn off in nav options (sorry, don't remember which one was it at hand).
