Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Sorry if I'm not understanding your question completely but when I replaced my top with a glass window version it will definitely not raise up as far as the plastic window.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 2Original post

Info on the car might be wise.......at least the year.....

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry 02' Boxster...and its a 2002 top frame, so it's hard to retract anyway,..but now it's even harder to position..Thank's !

POST 4Original post

Sorry if I'm not understanding your question completely but when I replaced my top with a glass window version it will definitely not raise up as far as the plastic window. This does limit access somewhat and makes it a little more of a challenge to work on but it will still raise up. I recently lost my transmission gears and converted it to manual operation until I can get around to replacing them but I can still get the top in service mode. I don't know of anything that would restrict your ability to raise the window just because you removed the rod linkage.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank's Jgkram,..Iam not sure what Iam missing..I just cant seem to fold it up higher than I use to,I for one would rather have the plastic window in this instance..or maybe I should get a 03' frame and install the top the way it should have been..Thank's for the info !! Frank
