Hi all I’m looking at refreshing my suspension. 996 turbo coupe x50. Probably going to buy centre gravity CGGT shocks and springs been quoted £1700 plus vat. Can anyone recommend best place to get definitely everything for the front including top mounts. Debating weather to leave the rear just depends on cost really. Also weather the 997 top mounts would work with this set up. I did have the coffin arms changed on the rear 2 years ago and everything does feel quite tight so in two minds to leave the rear stuff for another time. Thanks in advance

The rears are probably fine, just ask CG about the 997 front top mounts - they will be the best placed to answer that question. I did a suspension refresh last year and bought bits from a few places, auto-doc, partworks.de, ebay (meyle parts). One thing I always advise (at least once a week to someone ) is to also replace the engine mounts, it's cheap, easy to do, and can make a huge difference. CG will properly test your arms etc. and they always have decent ones in stock. It will probably cheaper to just let them change them with their parts rather than buying everything, some of which you won't need.

Thanks for reply’s centre gravity are booked up until late September and I was going to attempt it my self with my uncle who is a mechanic. Just seems a minefield when you go from one website to another for parts there are just so many different brands etc. recently bought some parts direct from Porsche as they was cheaper then online.
