Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I pretty much just change the oil every 3 to 4 months, hand wash it, park only in end spots in parking lots and store it in the garage out of harsh weather.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Reached a milestone this weekend and had celebratory outing. The old girl still purring and fleet of foot!

POST 2Original post

Nice! And still looks factory fresh! Let the journey continue . No Substitute

POST 3Original post

Congrats indeed! It is amazing how with a little care - these cars look new and modern, even when 15+ years old. I regularly get comments on mine, and it's won first in class in a local club Concours.. and it's creeping up on 17 years old. Original paint, interior, carpet, etc. Most 17 year old cars are in the junkyard.

POST 5Original post

yep I get compliments often. I love old cars with such style that retain their appeal and don’t look dated. And it amazes me how low maintenance these cars are. I pretty much just change the oil every 3 to 4 months, hand wash it, park only in end spots in parking lots and store it in the garage out of harsh weather. I’ve had to replace a rear wheel bearing and the front suspension joints are feeling a little worn but otherwise she drives great!

POST 6Original post

Great looking and obviously great running Cayman . My Cayman is 12 years old and has been maintained like yours. 71k and zero serious problems, few personalized mods though. Congrats!

POST 7Original post

Congrats! My boy Gunter (08 Base) is certainly going to make it there. Just got to 71K, I bought at 61K in March of 24. Drive daily to work, smile the whole way. He is a stunner too. Very tasteful upgrades. PDK paddle sport wheel, sport PDK shifter and PCCM+, outside mint (rear spacers).

POST 8Original post

Well these girls are very loyal to the owner… I do have 2014 model 3.4 6cyl 987… it removed my lower back pain after driving it ( caused by driving SUV). They are beautiful to drive and never say no they are better than a house wife 🤭 congrats, enjoy your celebrations buddy and have fun.

POST 9Original post

Congratulations!!! 150K? I bet you have at least that many smiles driving it 😀. It still looks great, timely classic.

Thanks MUCH! Not an inexpensive "mod" - I suspect I'll have to wait until it's my birthday to get this...
