Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys, I just picked up a set of Fikse Profile 5S wheels. I was originally going to grab myself a set of OZ Alleggerita HLT wheels, but figured these would be more unique on my car. Currently they are setup up as 18x8.5 (1.5" lip and 7" barrel), and 18x10 (2" lip and 8" barrel). I was planning to swap the rear 2" lips to the front and create 18x9's with better dish and a flusher offset. For the rears I was planning to add a 3" lip to create 18x11's, or I may even swap to a larger barrel to create 18x11.5's. If any of you have experiences with Fikse wheels and such, I would greatly appreciate your knowledge and insight as to what works best with these. If anyone has a set off their car in the normal GT3 specs, can you tell me what barrel and lips sizes your wheels are built with?? What is the sweet spot specs wise for these? 18x8.5, 18x9, 18x11, or 18x11.5?? My car is Speed Yellow so I was thinking of satin black centers and polished lips. I was also considering brushed gunmetal finish for the lips and centers.

POST 2Original post

Use an offset calculator. I'd mimic 6GT3 wheel specs as they fit flush with no spacer. Once you have an idea of offset and width it's pretty easy to figure out what kind of lip you want https://www.tireswheelsdirect.com/wh...ce-calculator/ Also silver wheels are always best

POST 3Original post

Is brake dust cleanup a concern ? If yes I am not sure you want a satin finish .

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anybody have Fikse's with really aggressive fitment? Most setups I am seeing are very conservative in terms of offsets. I would prefer a more flush look if I have the opportunity to building these wheels myself. Open to other fitments of 3 piece wheels. I am just trying to establish offset, barrel and lip widths, and tires and fender clearance.
