Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I want to lower my 2001 C4 and while Im at it replace the 20 year old struts. I do not track the car and generally like the factory ride, any recommendations on a preferred set up. initial thoughts are Koni struts with H&R lowering springs was considering the Bilstein coil overs but they arent available thanks for the help

POST 2Original post

go with Feal coilovers. will cost less than new struts and springs and allow way more fine tuning. Also easier to install since you wont need to compress springs, also prevents needing to replace other worn out OEM parts since it eliminates a lot of them.

Are they good quality? Do they last or do they have a shorter life span than some of their competitors?

I cant say first hand since i just installed them but from what i have read they are good quality and they have a large presence in the drift and race community. so far their customer service has been great and they are also serviceable down the road.
