Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I dug around using the 99634194101 number and came back even more confused as to what it was (besides a heck of a lot more expensive).

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I'm researching the parts needed for my 2002 targa suspension refresh. Most sites I have visited give me part number
99634105319
for both front and rear lower control arms. However when I called a Porsche dealer to inquire about availability, the parts guy there took my VIN and came back with
99634194101
for the front and 99634105319 for the rear. I dug around using the 99634194101 number and came back even more confused as to what it was (besides a heck of a lot more expensive). Additionally several sites tell me it fits my car, and several sites tell me it does not.
So, are the front and rear LCA's the same? Different? Is 99634194101 some kind of upgrade, and if so what is the benefit? Insights deeply appreciated.
99634194101 looks to be the adjustable version. Which would be more expensive but not necessary for most applications. The non-adjustable is the same for front and rear as De Jeeper says.
The diagrams on autoatlanta.com are great for digging into part numbers.
Thanks for the replies.
I think that brand has a hit/miss reputation. All the Meyle parts on FCPEuro right now say made in China. I'm not going to do that if I don't absolutely have to. I would do Lemforder or TRW but they don't exist at the moment as far as I can tell. There is also a URO brand out there, also iffy rep.
I saw one place where it said "adjustable", may have been autoatlanta. The Porsche USA website has parts diagrams too that seem to work pretty well. If it was adjustable that would explain the price difference. But I thought adjustable = GT3 arms, which are NLA. I did not know there was another genuine Porsche adjustable LCA.
Maybe I should just say eff it and send Elephant Racing some money.
I went ahead with 4 of the same part. I did find a possible picture of the mystery part number; it looks to me to be a fixed length piece in a darker color -- different material maybe? -- but the description claims that it is adjustable. If someone want to send Pelican Parts $1.5K they can find out.

In the Porsche catalogue for the front axle it is listed as: 99634194101 - Wishbone, Adjustable with Eccentric screw, Eccentric washer, and Hexagon nut
It's not listed specifically to any model year range or option codes, and it's not listed on the parts page for the rear axle. Looks like it was intended for the front axle only. ECS lists the TRW (OE supplier) version for $390/piece.
