This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After the anticipated wait, my bumperette delete panel finally arrived from Cypher Vehicle Design. These guys did a phenomenal job, color matched my black paint nicely. Definitely an easy worthwhile, cost effective mod. Anyone looking to delete your bumperettes- give these guys a look. (Original photo with bumperettes posted last for comparison)

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@sweet victory Thank you. Always wished the cars came to the US without the bumperettes. Glad a company offers the solution!

POST 5Original post

How is the plate held in place ? What material is it made of ? It looks good 👍 .

POST 7Original post

I went the DIY route with a sheet of black acrylic from Home Depot. Checked out their website just now, and I'd say $75 is a great price for the effort that was involved.

That is such a good job. For a couple of minutes you blew my mind trying to figure out how all the things reflected in that panel were behind your bumper.

@TheChunkNorris Thank you- big difference aesthetics wise. @996C438 It is held into place via the license plate frame. Position delete panel, pop on license plate frame tighten it down done. Simple and very sturdy. It is a lightweight painted aluminum. It weights a total of 2 lbs @yaz996 I had considered ordering the abs plastic and doing my own. Cost was very reasonable from Cypher Vehicle Design, so he made my choice easy. Yours looks great- I think either one gets the job done nicely!!

I went the DIY route on mine too. Made a template to use a piece of carbon fiber, but had some extra mesh from my bumper grills so tried that out and liked it.

POST 13Original post

Certainly cheaper than a euro bumper! Looks good.

That's a nice way to show off your handiwork on your bumper crash bar. Looks nice!
