This is not a probability of success.

Well, I would like to think that it was the fact that I had already parted with my hard-earned on the deposit that had got me into the Cayman Lounge, lol.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi Guys Just got in a few minutes ago. Early start, out of the house at 5am this morning, red-eye flight to Frankfurt, Taxi, and straight to the Porsdhe stand. 15 seconds looking at the Cobalt and silver cars on the main floor. Get stopped, asked if I needed anything, happens to be Mr. Polletti (Ramiel I didn't see your post before I left, just coincidence I bumbed into him!). 10 second chat, with Caymanclub mentioned, Ramiels name comes up, and wisked up to the Cayman Lounge. Well WOW. What a joy. Champagne breakfast, salmon the works. And a beautiful black Cayman S to pour over. OK, Black car has EVERY option, apparently, but no luggage divider. As Remeil said already the engine cover can only be removed from underneath. Big sub in passenger footwell. Short-shift box VERY heavy (but obviously it was cold). Leather everything, and exterior color trims in the cockpit. Yellow stitching and belts and dials. Flexible luggage divider is standard, and is a cloth membrane supported by flexible plastic wishbone. Addaptive seats that'll crush your thighs and kidneys. Brakes, suspension, alloys, Bose, Multichanger etc etc total price 95,000 Euro. The car is stunning. So glad I took the black, and I am happy with the Carrera S alloy choice (I know they are supposed to be the heaviest, whatever!) and happy with my options. The car looks so comact and muscular, and makes the 997 look a little flabby. Just a shame it didn't get the 997 headlights. That would have been perfection. I got more photos, a Press pack (which I haven't looked through yet) the hard-back brochure, little tubes of Porsche matches and the menu (stolen from the lounge!) and some other bits and pieces. Going to look at Ramiels photos before I put mine up. No point duplicating. Off to bed. Jack

POST 10Original post

Well, I would like to think that it was the fact that I had already parted with my hard-earned on the deposit that had got me into the Cayman Lounge, lol. Whatever the reason, it was a pleasure. I'm getting together a little pack to send out to K-Man as a little thank you for the site, made up with some of the stuff I picked up Unfortunately the Press Pack I picked up was not what I was expecting. Printed document of info we already have and then 3 CDs with model range pics in different resolutions. Nothing exciting or new, but still interesting and a bit of memarobilia. Maybe worth a mention is that in a weekly motoring mag over here it states 29 Sept as their 'first Drive', but not sure if that means first drive, or print of first drive report. Should know in a few days, though. Jack
