Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Replace order' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace order' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I think the top one is Artic, but I believe you are correct that those home taken photos are actually GT Silver. I would suggest looking at some
Carrera
GT pics since most of those cars are in fact GT Silver.
I got to look a both colors (colours) before I ordered and much preferred the (at least to my eyes) more silver Artic silver than the GT. Both are good looking but I don't see the $3000.
All beautiful. I have never been able to see the rationale for the extra $ for GT Silver, but I am an admitted non-silver guy. I must admit, though, the car looks beautiful in those pictures. I think I like Arctic better myself. Many many people (987 and 997) swear by GT Silver and believe it to be the king and well worth the money.
I also think the top pick is Arctic Sliver and the bottom GT Silver. I debated this choice as well and had an opportunity to see the two colors side by side on two
911s
at the dealer. While I slightly preferred the GT SIlver, it has a deeper cast to it, my preference was not worth $2200. That was about the same cost as a full leather Cocoa interior. I spend more time with the car on the inside than the outside. I drew the line at $75k with all the options, which already is the midpoint between a base
Carrera
and
Carrera
S.

The bottom is GT Silver. Braman in West Palm Beach has a 987 in Artic Silver sitting right next to a
Carrera
GT in GTSilver. In my opinion there is a significant difference when sitting next to each other. GT Silver is stunning. However when not sitting next to each other I personally do not believe the difference is $3,000 noticeable. To everyone else, silver is silver. I ordered Seal Grey and have never changed. I think it makes a subtle statement.
I was visiting the dealer today again on some options. It was time to make some final decisions on a November build. They had a
Carrera
GT in GT Silver sitting next to a regular
Carrera
in Arctic Silver. Bottom line, I changed my order to GT SIlver. Interior remains the same with Cocoa leather. The GT Silver just seems to show the curves better than Arctic Silver. They also had an awesome looking
Carrera
GT in seal grey.

i think gt silver is too much money to pay for a color, the same as the rear window wiper, in reality it should be a no cost option, next they will be charging us for the windscreen etc etc...
Why not pay a few hundred dollars more and get PTS
. You will have to wait a bit longer, but you will have a one of a kind car. Plus, I need a 'Waiting' buddyon this board when all these other guys are out playing with their new toys. I could not justify the difference between those two silvers myself.
The difference of $2200 is not inconsequential. I agonized over this decision and had previously compared a 40th Anniversary 911 in GT Silver to a 05' Arctic Silver
Carrera
. At that time, the difference did not strike me as significant enough to justify the price differential, although I did prefer the GT Silver. See the GT Silver on a
Carrera
GT next to an Arctic 05'
Carrera
pushed me over the top. That
Carrera
GT has Caymanesque hips that really seemed to benefit from the deeper luster of the GT Silver. Also, I know I will be seeing a lot of the Arctic Silver, there are 2 Carreras in my parking structure already in that color, and wanted to individualize the car.
As to PTS, I like silver. Have it on my
BMW
and it is much like the Arctic Silver. Has silver on a prior Mercedes. What silver would I PTS, Polar?

Amen.
Or if I can convince myself to live with a black car again, then black. Either way both are free.
I've been obsessed with a color before (
BMW
's Le Mans Blue) because itis unique and have been willing to pay more (within reason). But the moment I can plunk down 3K for a particular shade of silver is the moment I am ready to buy a Ferrari.
