Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The red 'battery' light came on this morning in my 4S after I'd started it. It did go out after a minute or so, but should I be concerned? The drive belts all seem fine as did the voltage on the battery gauge (just under 14). Anything else I might check? Thx R. Migration info. Legacy thread was 141642

Robert, if the car has been outside and it has been raining quite hard then the following is not unusual. Start the car normally Battery light comes on and voltage drops very slightly.
