Has anyone's order status changed from ACPORD
Yes, my order status has changed to MFGGNF, which, according to the dealer, means that it is in pre-production. The dealer said that out of his first 5 orders, (2 per month for November, December, and January builds), mine - which is first - is the only one whose status has changed. This was as of last Wednesday.
where is it being buildt?
I am assuming that it is being built at the Finnish plant (Valmet ?)
yep- i can here the critics now. if its not buidlt in stuttgart than its not a real porsche. ridiculous people.
MFGGNF means your car has been assigned a production number - It looks like you're on your way !
Mine has not changed from order accepted - ACPORD.
When I ordered mine on 08/20 the dealer printed out my Pro Forma Invoice.......the Order Status at that time already said 'MFGCNF'...........wonder howthat happened? It is a November build.
My statushas now changed to MFGCNF (November build)
Where do you check the order status at?
Same question. How do you check order status? Just from the dealer?
Jack
Unfortunately, the answer is yes - the dealer. He goes to the Porsche web site and then emails mea copy of the works orderpage which gives the current status. It also shows the options of the order and the build month.
If you haven't had your dealer print out a copy of the order (ACPORD) then I recommend you get this as it will show all the options that you ordered. Do not rely on the dealer to get the order right - Get a copy of this sheet as you will not be able to change it at a later date, if the order is wrong.
mine says MFGCNF since 8/26 when I placed the order
My order status on my work order page says ORDXMC. I cannot find that code on the Porsche Order Status Codes. Anyone have a clue as to what it means?
You can still made changes, it's beyond ACPORD but not yet set for production. Basically your last chance to change things.
Official definition for ORDXMC is: Changed Order Transmitted to PAG
I visited my dealer yesterday to place a build order. The salesman called latter to say the leather package to sample color (red) was not accepted. Did any of you order the (99) package and make it stick?
Are they accepting sport shifters now?
No sport shifters yet as of a check today. Here's a table I found with code info, hope this helps:

I can hardly wait until that DLRARR day.........all the new pictures are killing me!
Some say the wait is the best part. I don't think so./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif
DLRARR day looks and sounds too much like DOLLAR day.
More like SVNTYTHOSNDDLRARR day.
Thanks to KMAN-S for the code key.
