987.1 , 3.2 6sp 50k Cold start typical loud chain running sounds for 2 seconds and would silence. Thats normal. Now i can hear the persistent chain sound(less of it but its there) untill just before the engine idles down from cold start, about a minute maybe less. Just before the engine idle speed drops due to it warming up that's when the remaining chain sounds will muffle. Makes me think one tensioner is not getting sufficient oil pressure for the first minute of startup... Im soon testing the oil pressure to determine if the mechanical oil pump is perfect or no... Any thoughts to share are appreciated..

What oil are you using? Some people have found the suggested Mobil-1 to be lacking in some qualities.
