Ok, so thinking about updating the interior of HD1, amd have bid on two centre console surrounds on fleabay but have been beaten twice.....today I was the highest bid with 6 seconds remaining and two more bids came in (I guess they're using snipers which I'm not familiar with how to use).

These were both in arctic and my car in Seal. So, I'm wondering if anybody has any experience of painting their existing concoles to match their body colour ? I know the 997 can be ordered with the console in matching colour (Jamie's looks the dogs)
Could not possibly do it myself and would need a professional, but mihgt be cheaper than buying them new...
Any thoughts ?

I had my console resprayed in Lapis on my C4S. Depending on what the coating on the centre console is, some are a plasticised coating to match the leather, some are just finished and others are simply plastic. The price to spray these varies on the finishing, but look at a price of £300 for a plasticised version to be sprayed in body color.
Well worth it in my very humble opinion! Brightens up the interior considerable.
BTW, I picked up an old black plasticised one on eBay for £20. Obviously trying to find a Lapis Blue one on eBay was impossible so I was willing to incur the cost.

If you#re happy with silver then you can buy them new for £280.00 so seems poitless buying one and having it painted
