Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im going to try to change the spark plug and test the coil, can anyone tell me which plug is cylinder 3? Is this the correct diagram, left one on the passenger side?

POST 2Original post

Quotes source post: 448235

Rearmost on passenger's side (US car).

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

well I just pulled the coil and its slightly cracked..ordering new ones, hopefully it will fix the problem

POST 5Original post

You can clear the code and swap the possible bad coil with another and see if the code follows the bad coil. If so, then you'll know that you found the root cause.

POST 6Original post

Why does that diagram show the oil filler tube and manifold intake facing forward? Canadian car?

POST 7Original post

Quotes source post: 448300

The diagram is for a 996 engine. The giveaway is the oil filler tube, throttle body intake, and power steering fluid dipstick are all on the belt side. Here is a 996 pic with the air box removed (the red arrows point to the engine mounts).
