Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi. I'm looking for a set of the OEM factory supplied 17" Turbo twist wheels for a 98 Carrera 2 Does anyone know the correct size for the 996 and part no's ? There's plenty of Boxster wheels but I think they're a different size (but might be perfectly OK for a 996 being a similar car ) Anyone have a set for sale??

POST 2Original post

Hi The correct 17" wheel for a Carrera 2 would just be referred to as Carrera Wheels.. They are not a turbo twist which would be an 18" wheel. The ET (offset) is 55 front and back... The wheel sizes are 7" front and 9" back.. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated Do you think Boxster rear wheels (8.5 not 9) would be OK ?? , they're so much easier to find.
