Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

put in your Cayman? Everyone I've talked to says the best is Shell V-power . Agree/Disagree?

POST 2Original post

For us in Canada, the Shell V power just doesn't cut it as thier Premium is only 91 octane, while Chevron Supreme Plus is @ 94, thus no choice but to go with Chevron . Pretty sure that is not the case in Europe. Comments?

POST 3Original post

Here is an earlier thread that might be of interest: http://www.planet-9.com/showthread.php?t=11236&highlight=fuel

POST 5Original post

ploc - depends if you're at sea level in Canada or at higher elevations. I'm at 2200' ASL and I believe the 91 is all you need. Interesting that Shell only goes to 91 in the Vancouver region though....

POST 7Original post

Any distributor, always premium, rarely ethanol...

POST 8Original post

I don't know if this has been posted before, but for what it's worth. http://www.toptiergas.com/retailers.html I don't know how this was derived.

POST 9Original post

pretty suprised Exxon/Mobile isn't on that list

POST 11Original post

...hey wait a minute, the last 3 posts by gtscayman are numberd 498 - your counter is broken dude

POST 12Original post

Zeitgeist - get some sleep man! All your posts will have the same number also! Everyone of them, and I mean every one of them, counts forward and reads the same - I think it is some time/space trick of K-Man's. He thinks we're in his living room too! That dude must be smoking something powerful. Look at some of your old posts and see if you can find number one - I'm still looking for mine!

POST 13Original post

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but can't find anything. Can anybody tell me why in Singapore the fuel STARTS at 95 in most gas stations, then 98, and 100 octane? Is our RON rating system any different from the USA? V-power is MINIMUM 98 in here actually.

POST 14Original post

Those sound like plain research octane numbers. US octane ratings are (research+motor)/2. Motor octane number is significantly lower than research. I either never learned, or more likely, have forgotten, exactly how the two ratings are determined. I'm sure Wikipedia is your friend on this.

POST 15Original post

OK guess in Singapore we have a crap research figure - sophisticated cheater's paradise.
