Suggestion

You will want to check the stops under that rear edge to make sure that’s not what is causing the issue, and assuming it’s not, then you will likely need to tweak it back in the other direction so that it lays flat.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 3Original post

Welcome! If you google about, there are lots of resources dedicated to Boxster top issues. What I see is that your clamshell is likely slightly tweaked. You will want to check the stops under that rear edge to make sure that’s not what is causing the issue, and assuming it’s not, then you will likely need to tweak it back in the other direction so that it lays flat. Does it sit the same way when the top is down?
