My 2001 996 has been sitting for 5 months(with battery tender). What is the best starting procedure? Simply get in and turn the key as usual?

Long periods of time I take the fuel pump relay out. This way I crank it to prime oil all the way to cams ,tensioners and lifters. Probably 10-15 secs. Put relay back and go. Check air on tires

My 996 can set for a month or two without starting it. The night before I know I am going to take it out I put the charger on at 2 amps. Kinda of like you do the tender. No problems. I put 40 lbs in the tires because they will get flat spots sitting in your garage and you will notice it while driving until the tires warm up. Other than that. Nothing else.
