Looking to install Rennkit bluetooth in the frunk using cd changer wiring. dumb question for a wiring novice here…. Anyone know if the power should come from the red/green always hot wire, or the white/red wake up diagnostic wire? my concern using the red/green (always hot) is potential battery drain so was curious if the white/red wire could provide power? thanks guys!

We are going to need more information. I don't have a Rennkit bluetooth and have never seen the schematic. Do the instructions say you need an always on power or a switched power?

If you have a meter check the red / white with key on / off. If you don't have a meter (they're cheap) a 12V light bulb and two leads will suffice in this application.
