Not sure if it was the lugs on the O2 side or the slider on the harness side, but the connection seems to have been made.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've replaced all 4 of the O2 sensors on my 2002 996 C2 Cab, manual trans. All went well until I tried to connect one of the connectors to the vehicle harness. It was very difficult to push the slider down to lock it in place, so naturally, I pushed harder! Maybe even used a pliers. When the slider finally pushed down into position, I heard something snap. Not sure if it was the lugs on the O2 side or the slider on the harness side, but the connection seems to have been made. However, the O2 side connector is not straight inline with the harness side, it is at a slight angle. Car runs great, but I am getting CEL Fault codes from time to time. The last one was P0135 - could be a multitude of things. My question is: is it possible to buy new a connector assembly? Seems to be pretty specialized. Anybody have a source for this type of connector? TIA!
