Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Touchscreen Mount - this was probably the hardest part. Trying to figure out where to put the screen without drilling holes, so that it is viewable/accessible to me, not in the way of passengers, and easily removable. Originally was going to use a telescoping type arm attached to a piece of add on dash from Kuda, but it was too ugly and too in the way. So this is a plasic"U" shaped box that has foam on the inside and slips on the glove box front. The glove box closes and holds the screen. It's not too heavy so it shouldn't disfigure the glove box. Touchscreen Booting Windows Centrafuse Frontend - Great frontend, been in extended beta for a while, but stable. Available at http://www.fluxmedia.net/ As you can see, very minor logo adjustments for that "custom" look. I have the carputer controlling my mp3 collection, displaying OBD2 data, the weather, internet access, the XM, and my phone. My phone is setup to communicate with the carputer via Bluetooth and provide the carputer with internet access. Through this connection i can surf the web, retrieve the weather, traffic data, etc... Centrafuse Frontend - Still need to clip and tuck away some of the touchscreen wiring to get it out of the way. Centrafuse OBD2 Data Display - Centrafuse has some built in OBD2 data display capabilities. Centrafuse OBD2 Data Display XM Radio
