Suggestion
Mine is running standard spring heights, and 15mm spacers on 17"s felt like too much at the rear.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I got fed up with the 22 year old suspension and with a PCGB track day imminent it was time for something new. KW V3s, a 24mm drop in ride height and it looks and drives as it was meant to. Unfortunately it also needed lots of new rear arms and some top mounts too. A full suspension set up too from RPM Technik. The ride is firm but very direct, cornering flat and fast. But look at it!
For the road I think I’ll dial the bump back one more notch, especially if the speed limiter is in the passenger seat. I’ll experiment tomorrow, time for an early morning drive!
I don't think changing the spacers would alter your geo.. Its only moving the wheel out a few mm which wouldn't effect anything done during your last alignment..
I've trail fitted 15 rear and 7 front on my 996 Gen2 standard 18" wheels on standard tyres. The rears look like they stick out beyond the wheel arch. Even my indie made the same comment. Can't get my head around it as I did my due diligence before purchasing them as 15 and 7 we're the way to go. See what it's like once lowered.
15s work for me, though they're definitely at the limit, I wouldn't got any more. For clarity, these at the stock turbo twists from the C4S,
Re. Springs, I went with what RPM recommend. My understanding is that these are softer than the springs that come with the kit but I don't know the rates.
I was at Goodwood today, the car was awesome. It has way more ability than I do but it gave me confidence to push the car more. Very happy.
