Hi there, looking for some quidance/suggestions for my 996 that now has a 3.8l motor built by Vision Motorsports in So Cal. I am going to use the 911 for street and track and looking for as much performance as possible but still being under 102 or lower for track time.
Suggestions please?
Thanks! I was working with Steve but he didn't seem to have specific recommendations. I just sent them an email to ask Dwain. I also might have Rob at S Car Go do the exhaust as he is my local go to. thanks
Take a look at FVDs 200 cell cats and Headers, both done by M&M which builds the exhausts for Porsche racing. FVD sport mufflers would round out the sound.
But I would first check with Vision on their recommendations.
Second GC�s suggestion. M&M makes outstanding products, glad to see FVD utilizing them for their exhaust components. If your engine builder gives you the green light- give their systems a look. I�ve attached an option seems like a great, Street/track combo, probably on the aggressive side. They also offer it in catted versions.

Are those FVD M&M equal length produced in the last couple of years or pre-M&Ms? What year did you buy them and what kind of wear and tear have they been put thru? Why sell?
I too have a 3.8. I�m currently running a Fabspeed x-pipe with 200-cell cats. The combo is good for 327 WHP! However, while getting my car tech�d before trying to go to Laguna Seca for a DE day, was told there was no way I�d pass the db meter.
