Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello as part of my engine rebuild I want to install four new O2 sensors . Car is a 1999 C4 . I believe these are direct fit Bosch part numbers: 13564 upstream 13723 downstream Do you guys agree those are the correct part numbers ? Is Bosch the way to go or are others using NGK/Denso or others ? Thanks in advance .

POST 3Original post

I used Bosch not sure of the numbers though. There are many available - including ones without the plug ends that are much less expensive. In the end I went with the drive fit replacements as I didnt want to mess around with plugs/splices etc I think they were in the $160-$180 range for the more expensive ones (up stream) and $120 for the less it was a few years ago. Job was a major pita - they were the original sensors. I had to remove the cats and do some major surgery to get them out

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The two part numbers I listed above are plug and play with the connectors already terminated . Prices are in the 75.00-80.00 each range .

POST 5Original post

That's what I used on my '99 C2. $74.00 & $75.00 from Amazon. Not sure if they're cheaper elsewhere but I needed them quick.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

^^^ Appreciate the verification , I checked quite a few websites that agree those are the correct part numbers . There are some sites that state different part numbers for whatever reason . Prices are all over the place .

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ordered the sensors from Rock Auto today . The 13564 were $69.99 each the 13723 were $71.79 each. Original Bosch and plug and play. That was the best price I could find .
