It was the same for my R8, I turned down the offer of the Audi / Cobra (Vodafone) system and went independent.

That has far more features and in particular allows you to set Workshop or Transport modes for more than 10 hours, which is frankly useless if you're taking the car on a long ferry crossing.

I tried to set it up once on the laptop first but it kept re-directing me back to the Porsche app. The trackers offered in collaboration with car manufacturers often have less functionality than a similarly priced or cheaper standalone product from the tracker company. It was the same for my R8, I turned down the offer of the Audi / Cobra (Vodafone) system and went independent.
