Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 1999 911 cabriolet (109,000 miles) and had the unfortunate circumstance to have a flat on the road. Changed out to the spare which quickly shredded into pieces! It was probably the 1st time used and it was original meaning 20 years old, no wonder! Anyhow the rim is perfect and all I need is a spare tire...…….which is impossible to find. It appears to be only sold as a set (rim & tire). Is there a supplier that makes this spare? Thanks Bob

POST 2Original post

Continental makes a 115/95r17 that is pretty close. Personally I'd just buy a used one. 20 years isn't that old for rubber that lives a sheltered life. Theres a very good chance that if you buy a new one from porsche it will be about 20 years old. Maintaining pressure is vital for it to work when you need it. Plan on adding air at least yearly
