When I replaced the water pump on my '99 over the summer I was really surprised that all of the hoses were still in really good condition.

I'm getting ready to take my 2007 to the mechanic to get some maintenance done, spark plugs, oil change, brakes, belts, air filters, etc.

Most people only replace them if they leak or when they replace the water pump (which seems to fail much earlier than any of the hoses).

Hi, I'm getting ready to take my 2007 to the mechanic to get some maintenance done, spark plugs, oil change, brakes, belts, air filters, etc. On my previous car, I used to replace the engine hoses every few years, but I can't find any info about the Boxster hoses. Does the Boxster use hoses that should be replaced?, if so can anyone recommend a parts vendor? Thanks

Yes, there are several coolant hoses on the Boxster. Most people only replace them if they leak or when they replace the water pump (which seems to fail much earlier than any of the hoses).
