This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Noticed that my pse doesn't seem to be as quiet as it used to be when it is turned off. Checked the valves to make sure they are closing and getting vacuum and found that one of them simply goes loose when it it is turned off (ie turned to quiet). It is clearly getting vacuum, as when the pse is on (loud), it is spring loaded open, but when on quiet you can freely move the valve open and closed (ie the exhaust valve isn't firmly locked into place closed). Anyone had this problem before?

POST 2Original post

Seems like Peter had exactly the same problem: https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/fb.asp?m=584806 The thread shows how he fixed it.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well there you go, the answer is always out there somewhere! Thanks Richard. Seems like exactly what has happened will get myself a new vacuum unit. Looks like an easy enough fix. Greg
