Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T122219Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ahem, not sure if we can mention 'other' places but the colonials seem to have done a lot of carefully measured and dyno'd work on a relatively simple muffler bypass mod for the TT. Anyone here tried it? I can feel my drill finger twitching on the basis i have nothing to lose if I am looking at aftermarket exhausts anyway.

Oh well, looks like I will be the first then

Ok, here is a link to the thread on 6speed. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78446 It is long but if you jump through it looks like the guys have been pretty thorough in analysing what they have done and there doesn't seem to be any real downside. I'm sure it doesn't set off car alarms like the fabspeeds but who knows it might be enough. I'm going to give it a try next week, starting with a 1" hole and maybe working up from there.

POST 5Original post

It's like the old trick of drilling holes in the airbox on a 993... You've gotta try it guys.
