Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have posted up the article on how to install the TC Design harness bar in the Cayman. See: http://www.planet-9.com/article_read.asp?id=81 Tony at TC Design is going to be running a group buy shortly, please stay tuned!

POST 2Original post

Very nice article as usual. I will definatly be installing one of these soon. After my last auto cross i had a bruse on the outsides of myknees from bracing myselfin the cabin! I'm looking forward to your harness review.

POST 3Original post

K-Man S, Can you post a photo of your belts installed on the harness bar? I'm curious if the sport seats are usable with sholder harnesses and just how they will operate. The bar itself is really cool. Nice write up, too.

POST 4Original post

Will do, that's the next article I need to work on.

POST 5Original post

Please do let me know what kind of belts you got as I need to order a set and figureout what to install. thanks and great article by the way!!!

POST 6Original post

I went with a set of TeamTech belts but I am still having problems locating the proper harness installation hardware, maybe someone here will chime in...

POST 7Original post

Yes, please, I need that info as well. Not finding a matching set of belts that work with the harness bar is the main reason I haven't gotten one yet.

POST 8Original post

I just sent a request to Farnbacher Loles about possibly modifying the stock seats to accept a harness. Someone posted previously that they can do this, but no details were provided. I will post when I get a response.

POST 9Original post

Kip at Farnbacher was supposed to get back to me as well as a few other sources but so far nada. I know Farnbacher has a sub-bar for attaching the sub belts, I would prefer eye bolts or small tab brackets. I did find one supplier CDOC that claimed to have lap belt hardware for the Cayman S that takes me back to figuring out what to do with the sub belts. Let me know if you find out anything and I will do the same.

POST 10Original post

fred, if you want harness, i would get schroth 6pt. i have had schroth, teamtech, simpson, willans and sparco, nothing comes close.
