Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Does any member have any idea what colour this is. There is no paint code on the drivers door pillar or any where else on the car. It is a silver with a hint of lilac, almost a mink colour. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards Malc

POST 2Original post

Malc - I did reply to your email, but maybe you didn't get it: -----Original Message----- From: Richard Hamilton Sent: 26 January 2015 14:33 To: 'Malcdraper from Porsche Club GB Forum' Subject: RE: Colour of your Cayman? Hi Malc My Cayman is Meteor Grey, which is similar to the Seal Grey used on the 996. If you look in the service book, or under the front compartment lid, the sticker there should show the paint code. Let me know what it is, and I'll look it up for you. Cheers Richard Edit: You can get the colour from here: https://www.porscheclubgb.com/forum/tm.asp?m=230691

POST 3Original post

If it has a kind of light brown to pink colour in varying lights it'll be Meridian silver.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Richard Many thanks for getting back to me. Sorry i did not get your earlier message. I'll check for the code over the weekend and let you know. It looks pretty similar to Meteor Grey, so that's a good starting point before I go and buy the touch up stick. Thanks for the help. Cheers Malc

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks everyone who responded. It's Meridian metallic and I have now ordered the touch up paint kit. Fingers crossed for a good match. Don't you just hate those shopping trolleys in the hands of careless shoppers?
