Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Reported cause

I know there is vertical movement available as I had my local indy take out the drivers seat trying to trace a rattle and it ended up much lower when it went back in - as my girlfriend is 6'2" and I'm 6 foot, this actually turned out to be a good thing for us, massively increasing head room.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I am quite tall and have the driver seat as far back as possible. I could do with another 20-30mm. There is plenty of space left behind the seat. Has anyone got experience with moving the seat brackets or any other solution? Thanks!

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Apologies for moving this up . Nobody any suggestions? Many thanks!

POST 3Original post

Hi Elliot, I know there is vertical movement available as I had my local indy take out the drivers seat trying to trace a rattle and it ended up much lower when it went back in - as my girlfriend is 6'2" and I'm 6 foot, this actually turned out to be a good thing for us, massively increasing head room. Might be something to try for you though I'm not sure whether there is also fore/aft adjustment on the mounts. Chris
