Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have just bought a 03 C4 and have noticed that the sat nav is not that up to date. Now i realise the car is 4 years old so its no wonder , but i was wondering: 1. how can i tell the date of the sat nav maps? 2. what is the latest version? 3. how do i obtain it Now i believe that porsche stopped using this type of sat nav later in the year but was hoping that someone else may have done updates as im sure they dont make the system themselves. Any help greatly received. Peter

POST 2Original post

Peter. I think this was discusse on the thread where UUF361 was looking for replacement disks for his. If you do a search, I'm sure you'll find the answer

POST 3Original post

I was looking for original disks for mine as I was having it retro-fitted by Sid Spanner, who did it this morning. I've only got disks from 2003 so not sure how up to date they will be, but very happy with the look of the car now it's been installed, think it looks really good and finishes off the centre console very nicely, and a big endorsement from me for Sid, who really knows his stuff, a very friendly, good guy who completed it all at a very reasonable price.

POST 4Original post

Hi, Do you mind me asking how much it was to buy the unit and get it retro fitted please? Also, how long did it take Sid? Cheers.

POST 5Original post

No, not a problem at all - I got the unit (but without the Nav module) off ebay for £256, other parts were around £700 and and it took Sid about 3.5 hours in total to complete the job. The OPC I am told want close to £3K to get this done.
