Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Surprising, based on some opinions about the reliability of the early 3.4's. You'd think they would be a dime a dozen.
I'll keep my eye out for you.
Good luck getting another 996 racer!!
Does the motor HAVE to be blown? Here's a plenty cheap 996 ($13,500 asking) I found in Los Angeles CL after about five minutes of searching. The motors not blown yet, but I can take care of that for you!!

Another two minutes of searching found this one.

This one has the very desirable "motor problem" option.
Just $500.00 less than the other one.

Phil,
No I don't need a blown motor, but would make more sense than trying to sell it on ebay. I've got a reman w/less than 1000 miles and the motorsports oiling upgrades already in my current car, so was trying to avoid dealling with another.
Thanks for the leads! It is tough searching craigs list nation wide. I'll check them out.
There is a good site (crazedlist.org) that allows you to search multiple craigslist sites at the same time. You need to use firefox and tweak some browswer settings, but it's pretty easy.
