Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

btw: they also fixed my problem with rear bumps - there was some slight problem with the rear hatch.

POST 1Original post

I searched thru the clutch problems on the site and I think I experience smth new but probably they are all related somehow. I've got Cayman S, manual, around 3000km so far. When I start to release the clutch pedal everything goes smoothly till around 3/4 of the release and then at the end I feel the pedal is suddenly pushed out to the end, with quite strong sound (which is a sound of the pedal reaching its final position, so hitting some break). The car drives fine but it's funny when I remove left leg quickly, then you can hear a quite strong voice of the released pedal. suprise in a car like Porsche... it started to behave like that over weekend, so I could not visit my dealer yet (and next week I'm on business trip...but have sent email to service). anyone experienced anything similar ? (I will keep you posted once the service comes back to me). Jacek

POST 2Original post

It took the dealer 3 days to fix it. There was a problem with some funnel which was not properly lubricated by the factory. It caused that my clatch started to work only half way and at the end it was pushed out by the string (or whatever). btw: they also fixed my problem with rear bumps - there was some slight problem with the rear hatch. everything working nice so far, but I must admit Porsche is my first car which was taken to the dealer after 3000km (never experienced anything like that with my previous 8 new cars during last 16 years...). Still love it ! J.
