Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, While sat in a traffic jam on the M3 over the weekend, I noticed my car isn't happy at 1000rpm, it sort of stutters. As soon as you go faster it clears and is fine. Anyone else notice this ? Cheers Stu

POST 3Original post

Mine has always been a bit stuttery around 1k rpm, but is currently a lot worse when first started... I've a service coming up in the next month or two, so will mention it to the OPC.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Richard, I'll give the MAF sensor a clean this weekend, if the problem still exits is it ok if I pop over next week some time ? Cheers Stu

POST 5Original post

No problem Stu. I'm in every day except Monday.

POST 6Original post

Hi Richard, I think my MAF may be a bit 'dicky'. How do you run a diagnosic check ?

POST 8Original post

When you use your PST2, does it leave any record in the ECU? I remember that VAGCOM does leave a "dealer number/reference" when you use it and you had to be careful not to leave a record that you'd been in having a play.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
