Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

 Hi , on the inside of the fuel filler cap on my 2002 C4 cab it states tyre pressures of 36psi front 44psi rear. I'm running on new perelli Pzero asemmetrico 225/40/ZR18 N3 front and 295/30/ZR18 N3 rears are these the correct pressures for everyday driving. cheers for the advise ive been looking on the netbut can't find anything.

POST 2Original post

Is that a C4 or C4S? If it's a C4 you are running oversized on the rear. As regards pressures many (me included) find that they are a little too inflated for everyday use, it's not as if you are driving around with 4 people, a fully loaded boot and a brimmed fuel tank is it. I used to drop by about 2-4psi depending on the tyre, or even less with a N6 Corsa (ie. 34/38psi)

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Damian ye its def a C4 ,thats the size of tyre that was fitted when i bought it last august. What size should be on the rears?

POST 5Original post

285/30 afaik. Re. pressures I have been told anything from 36 up to the stated 44 psi for the rears. Have a play and see what works for you.

POST 6Original post

Got the same tyres and same sizes - As Damian has said, play about with the pressures mine (03-C2) feels best at about 2-3Lbs less both front and rear thats with just me in it and half to a full fuel tank. I find the car feels more planted especially on twisty B roads...
