We'd need the car for about 30 days to have the regulators installed and run an endurance test on one of them.

Hi Raffi, sorry but we've already sold a huge number of Window Regulators 996 543 015 06 and 996 543 016 06 with great success, and no longer need a test vehicle.

(We would use our OE electric motor for the endurance test, not yours.) The car would be kept inside the entry room of our alarm-protected headquarters (next to two highly collectible restored cars), where it's clean and there is almost no foot traffic.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, we recently developed new URO Premium rear Window Regulators 996 543 015 06 and 996 543 016 06 for the 1996-2005 996 convertible, and would like to do a test fit. As you probably know, the Genuine Porsche units are extremely expensive, so aftermarket units will be a welcome addition to the Pelican catalog. If anyone has a failing regulator(s) and would like a pair of free rear URO regulators in return for lending us your car, please send us a PM. We'd need the car for about 30 days to have the regulators installed and run an endurance test on one of them. (We would use our OE electric motor for the endurance test, not yours.) The car would be kept inside the entry room of our alarm-protected headquarters (next to two highly collectible restored cars), where it's clean and there is almost no foot traffic. We're located in Simi Valley, which is just north of Los Angeles.

POST 2Original post

Well 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. I’ve got the 996 Cab in Southern California but the regulators are working fine. No doubt you will find some cars ready for the upgrade. Good Luck

POST 3Original post

Well four years later and my rear driver side regulator crapped out . . . I don’t suppose you guys are still in need of some test vehicles? If so PM me. Thanks Raffi
