Hi
We got our first bit of nice weather in the UK for months this weekend. I went to put the roof down and nothing
On opening the roof latch, the windows drop as expected.
When I then press the roof down button on the console, I get the usual message on the speedometer display "convertible roof opening" but nothing else. The motor doesn't make a noise and there's zero movement.
I've checked the fuse, and got to the relay above in the driver footwell. I tried switching over the roof up/down 404 relays and gave them a light whack but no luck. I tried putting my multimeter in the relay slots and didnt get any voltage, but after reassembling found an old

schematic that makes it look a bit more involved to test than realised - so likely my error
The fact the microswitch drops the windows, and the console switch generates the message lead me to rule them out. I'm also ruling out the fuse and the relay. I do get some condensation build up in the car when it's very wet, but I haven't had any other electrical issues or any flooding.
If anyone could suggest some debugging steps I'd be very grateful, else it will likely be a call to the specialist after the Easter weekend.
Thanks for any help

Note that all of these connect back to the rear control module - the one that lives under the driver's seat (in the US) that goes bad after getting wet. Does your spoiler go up and down? That's controlled by the rear control module also.

Thanks for the diagram, that's more use the

ones I'd found.
The spoiler and fog lights all seem to work OK. The only problem I've had with electricals (which I think precedes the roof) is the lights in the front & rear trunks not turning on.
I'll keep you posted.
On the

, the trunk and frunk lights not working, at least for me, traced back to a bad battery.
