Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys New joiner here looking at a 996 purchase, largely spurred on by my partner, I’m thinking of buying it while she is still a student with a view of her taking it on one day… I wondered if anyone had any info on the car for sale below not too far from me.. Auto Trader UK - New and Used Cars For Sale Find your next car with Auto Trader UK, the official #1 site to buy and sell new and used cars. Over 400,000 cars online. Simple, easy, quick! www.autotrader.co.uk I’m going to try and swing by there today to get a reg etc. It would be a first Porsche purchase having mostly driven BMW’s and an Exige over winter (ouch) Cheers Woots

POST 3Original post

It looks great and could be a really nice introduction to Porsche ownership, but (sorry to be negative)...who knows what horrors lurk beneath. It's worth to have an independent pre-purchase inspection done...especially if it's your first Porsche.

POST 4Original post

Why does the airbag look a different colour to the steering wheel?

POST 5Original post

Just to note - this car has been sitting on Autotrader for several months.
