Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi The dash on my 2007 Cayman S has got the message "25 0 (with a diagonal line through the 0) mph" shown on it. I can not seem to remove it. Anyone clarify what it means and how to deal with it? Thanks Hugh91

POST 2Original post

That is your average speed reading. 0-with-slash is actually an "O" which is an engineering logo for average or mean value. Your computer stalk can change this display to show other things. My 987.2 can also show mpg average and some other things - I generally leave it on mpg average. Pulling the stalk can reset that value as well... it will recalculate until the next time you reset it. Check out the manual and you can learn more about what it does. While you're at it, you may want to introduce yourself in the new member forum, and post some pictures of your car!
