Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 7Original post

POST 8Original post

Quotes source post: 2689549

POST 9Original post

BTW look top right, the Arnage sign is genuine, don't ask!

POST 10Original post

it was more of an issue on the 996.1 from what I recall and as such a useful fix which has been adopted into the 997

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When it came down to it couldn’t be bothered, it’s only a couple of hundred quid to get it done by Unique.

POST 12Original post

Always do mine myself , love the involvement and like to inspect everything properly.

POST 13Original post

Do all my servicing on my 996.1, its an easy enough car to work on especially now I've got myself a quick jack lift. And doing it myself I know exactly what's been done plus I'm enjoying tinkering with it.
